xBASE is a facility hosted in Professor Mark Pallen's laboratory at the University of Birmingham.

Our group helps run the University's high-throughput genomics service which can offer 454 sequencing, as well as Illumina & SOLiD library preparations. For more information please visit the UB Genomics website. If you do utilise our service, your data files will be delivered through xBASE-NG and for bacterial applications we are able to offer an assembly, annotation and variant discovery service through the xBASE resource.
